I believe every single child has something important and unique to say. Not just the kids who already know they want to be writers, or musicians, or scientists — every kid. The quiet ones, the loud ones, the ones who think nobody’s listening. All of you have a story worth telling.
Why your story matters
Sometimes adults forget what it feels like to be a kid. They forget the big feelings, the wild ideas, the questions nobody else is asking. That’s exactly why we need to hear from you. The world is a better place when young voices get to share what they see.
I’m 12 years old, and I wrote a whole book. Not because I’m special — but because I decided my story was worth telling. If I can do it, so can you.
Three ways to start sharing your story
- Write it down. Even one paragraph counts. Start a journal — nobody has to read it but you.
- Tell someone you trust. A friend, a parent, a teacher. Saying it out loud makes it real.
- Make something. A drawing, a song, a short video. Your story can come out in lots of ways.
And if you know a kid who’s already doing something amazing, head over to Youth Trailblazers and nominate them. When one kid shines, we all shine brighter.
